 Progressive Technologies opened for business in 1985. The company's objective was to custom design and manufacture industrial rechargeable battery packs for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and hobby markets. In 1992, PTI moved its corporate headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities to Pilot Mountain, North Carolina.
 The OEM division of the company has designed and built products used in computers, camcorders, tools, medical equipment, military applications, metering, mining, handheld communications equipment, etc. Quality design manufacturing and delivery continues to build our OEM reputation as one of integrity.
 The Medical division of Progressive Technologies is our fastest growing department. From portable heart defibrillator batteries to stand-by medical applications, PTI is dedicated to providing the best quality and support for our medical customers. PTI is currently certified to both the ISO9001 and ISO13485 Quality Standards. |
